The Office
HTX Counseling and Wellness is located in a 2 story home built in 1923 in the Museum District. Red brick on the outside and surrounded by trees, it sits on the corner of Barkdull St. and Mt. Vernon at 1118 Barkdull St.
The location gives access to Herman Park and the Museum District for walk and talk sessions. The neighborhood of South Hampton, which includes the often photographed promenades of North and South Boulevards, makes for some beautiful walks when the weather permits.
The office is seen below. Lots of natural sunlight and comfortable seating.
The waiting room is what would be the living room were it still residential. Fresh coffee is made every morning. Tea and hot chocolate are available upon request. The fire in the wood burning fireplace during winter makes it one of my favorite places to be. No need to knock when you arrive for your session, come on in.
